Vald, whose real name is Valentin Le Du, was born on 15 July 1992 and is a French rapper. He discovered rap around the age of 15 while surfing on the Internet and stumbled upon Kery James and he definitely started rapping at the age of 17. His first mixtapes, NQNTMQMQMB (Ni Queue Ni Tête Mais Qui Met Quand Même Bien) in 2012, then Cours de rattrapage during the same year, were made available for free download on his website. They are reissued in 2016 in a double CD edition, sold on his site.

On 27 October 2014, he released his first EP NQNT (Ni Queue Ni Tête) on the rapper Tunisiano’s label. In June 2015, he released the video clip of his track Bonjour and quickly reached the million views. The song Morceau appeared on his second EP NQNT 2 and released on September 25, 2015 ranked 1st in weekly digital sales and 11th all media combined in France.

Vald’s debut studio album, Agartha, was released in January 2017. It unveils three extracts from his album, Eurotrap, Megadose and Petite Chatte.
